CM-DA2022-001 - Development at Stanford Lake Road

Transform the 53-acre parcel into Chester Hills. As quoted by the applicant "This thriving community will consist of a variety of housing options including: semi-detached units, townhouses, multi-residential and single family style homes."

CM-AL2022-002 - Rezone PID 60422888 from SR-2 MU Zone

Request to rezone a portion of PID 60422888 from Settlement Residential Two Zone to Mixed Use Zone. Request received by Larex Management on behalf of 3220572 Nova Scotia Limited and James Boudreau Limited.  If approved, the rezoning will result in the entire lot being within the Mixed Use Zone. The stated intent is to develop a commercial subdivision serving Highway 103 and Hubbards area residents.

CM-AL2022-003 - Municipal Land Use By-Law House Keeping Amendments

  • Section 2.0 - revise definition of "Tourist Home
  • Section 3.2 - revise wording to address the adoption of revised maps
  • Section 4.1.3 - add language explaining that certain By-laws are exempt from LUB provisions, including but not limited to: Mobile Vending, Uniform Signage & Outdoor Dining
  • Section 4.18.1 - use single unit dwelling setbacks as the standard for private storage
  • Section 4.28.1 - (1) clarify that any development on a lot subject to Lakefront Overlay requires a development permit, and (2) revise lot coverage language
  • Section 6.4.1 - (1) list campgrounds and RV parks as permitted uses in the SR-2 Zone (2), limit camp sites/RV's to 10, and (3) impose 10m setbacks equal to those found in the Hamlet Zone
  • Section 6.4.1 - revise setbacks for 3-11 dwelling units on a lot from 1.5m to 3m and Tourism Accommodations setbacks from 7m to 7.5m to match MU Zone requirements
  • Section 6.5.1 - revise language for larger campgrounds and RV parks to "21 or more sites"
  • Section 9.4.3 - add Waterfront Parks not owned by the Municipality by Development Agreement to list of Permitted Uses and Developments
