Evening Supervisor (CAMS and CDS) (Posted August 10, 2022)

The Municipality of the District of Chester is seeking a part-time Community Use Supervisor for Chester Area Middle School (CAMS) and Chester District School (CDS). Under the supervision of the Community Development Coordinator, the Community Use Supervisor will ensure that community use of the school is safe, respectful and enjoyable for all. The ideal candidate will possess strong interpersonal and communication skills, be able to work independently and be familiar with local community organizations. With regards to the impact of coronavirus, this position is conditional upon community access to the schools and may change if deemed necessary by the Municipality of the District of Chester or the South Shore Regional Center for Education.

Development Officer - Community Development & Recreation Department (Posted May 18, 2022)

The Municipality of the District of Chester is seeking an individual for the full-time position of Development Officer.  This position is responsible for the administration of Municipal planning documents and responds to inquiries related to land use, development, and subdivision.
